Ingrassia’s widely reported racist past weaponizing Nazism highlights how quickly the White House will overlook racial and ethnic animus among its cabinet members. The pervasiveness of white nationalists, outright racists, and Christian nationalists in the highest office in the land signals just how far backward the United States has gone.
